Frameworks

Assess any patient community against your own criteria.

We get a lot of questions from pharma about evaluating a specific patient community. Almost always, the evaluation exists to support a decision: awarding a grant, choosing which community to work with, profiling ahead of a congress, forming a patient panel. The criteria are rarely standardized. Every team has its own, usually sitting in a document that someone applies by hand, one community at a time.

The new Omni Framework agent applies them for you. One agent per criterion, each built for exactly that question and given the specific data it needs to answer it, with the evidence and sources behind every score. Get results and share reports with your team in less than a minute.

What teams use it for

Every team has its own standard for evaluating patient communities. These are some of the jobs we built Assessment Frameworks for.

  • Mapping patient communities in a disease area against your own scoring criteria
  • Vetting potential partners before an engagement or grant
  • Profiling patient communities ahead of a congress or patient advisory board
  • Reassessing existing partners to support ongoing compliance
  • Giving global teams and local affiliates a shared standard so assessments are consistent and comparable across markets

How it works

Each framework is configured once for your company, then applied consistently across every patient community you assess. You can run multiple frameworks side by side. Every assessment is dated, saved to the patient community's record, and visible to your team.

  • Your criteria. Define up to 50 criteria, each with its own description, qualifying evidence, and guidance for assigning a rating.
  • Your scale. Choose the rating labels and define what each one means, for example, Low / Medium / High fit or Approved / Needs review / Not suitable. The same scale is used across all criteria, keeping results consistent and comparable.
  • Your reports. Export either a full report or a summary report. Both are a consistent, ready to share format across every assessment and framework.

Why this is hard to do any other way

Work that once required days or weeks of desk research, or a costly external review, now runs in under a minute. Every score includes supporting evidence, linked sources, and a timestamp, providing the traceability that legal and compliance teams require.

General purpose AI tools are not built for this. Without Axcela Bio's patient community intelligence behind the assessment, results cannot be verified.

The evaluation still belongs to your team. The work of running it does not.

Assessment Frameworks operate under the same data protection and security standards as the rest of the Axcela Bio platform. Your company's data is never used to train AI models.
